Working with the Education team at the CMHR, we had an opportunity to interview Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave) when he was at the Museum for the Opening of Beyond the Beat: Music of Resistance and Change. This short video was created as an addition to the popular Be an Upstander school program, putting Tom beside other inspirational people such as Malala Yousafzai and Viola Desmond.
The Upstander program is targeted at Middle and High school students, it was important for us to create a video what would grab their attention while providing the message that anyone can be an Upstander.
